Creating a world in which to set my novel has become an adventure. Maps, sketchbooks, journals, scrapbooks, paintings, blogs and now a website on which to chronicle it all.
Welcome to my world.
This website is dedicated to my world, which is as yet unnamed, but bears the name of the working title of the second novel I have set within it: Heir to Magic.
On this site I will talk about what it takes to plan out and create a fantasy world by creating my own fantasy world in which I will be setting my stories. I will go through world building, creation of flora and fauna, world histories, religions, political history and anything else I come across in the creation and evolution of a world of my own in which to set my stories.
I can not promise that it will not be a confusing journey, but I hope that it will at the very least be an entertaining one and that you will come along for the ride.
In addition to the various pages on the website and a blog I have created a forum where those interested in what I am creating can participate in discussions about my writing, writing in general and world building.
